Children's Ministries

The Kingdom Kids Choir
The Kingdom Kids Choir practices on Wednesday nights from 6:30 until 7:00 pm in the choir room and is open to children from ages 7 through 12 (second through seventh grade). They perform occasional musicals in addition to singing in the worship services four to six times per year. Each July the group goes to music camp together where they learn more about music, singing, and their faith. The children's choir is led by Randy & Tracy Imler.
Little Lights Choir
The Little Lights Choir is open for ages 3-6 (generally first grade) who want to learn how to sing. The Little Lights rehearse from 6:30 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday nights in the children's activity room (lower level of the church building). The children memorize Scripture, sing hymns and play games. The Little Lights participate in the worship services at least twice per year (at Christmas and in the Spring). The Little Lights Choir is led by Amy Jackman & Lauren Adams.
Triathlon
This is a three part memory program involving Scripture Memory, Bible Knowledge, and Catechism for children from 3 years of age to 5th grade. Participants work at church and at home to memorize passages of scripture, learn details about the Bible and Bible stories, and memorize the answers to 145 questions from the Catechism for Young Children, with the goal of reciting all of them by 5th grade. During the Sunday School hour, "hearers" will come to each classroom to listen to the participants recite what they have learned that week. Contact Terry Jackman for more information.
Summer Reading Program
The Reading Program for children is an outreach ministry of the church library. It offers children (and adults) a chance to read from the many selections in the church library which fosters the children's love for God and love for reading. The Summer Reading Program is a special emphasis during the Summer months in which children can enter a contest to see who can read the most books in a Summer. This encourages the children to continue their education outside of school as well as educate them on the lives and activities of missionaries and foreign lands. The Summer Reading Program is coordinated by Margaret Sellers.
Vacation Bible School
Each Summer Ebenezer sponsors a Vacation Bible School for the children of the church and the community. Children learn crafts, games, songs, and most importantly, the gospel. Each Vacation Bible School is a great opportunity for outreach to the children of our community.
