Triathlon
This
is a three part memory program involving Scripture Memory, Bible
Knowledge, and Catechism for children from 3 years of age to 5th grade.
Participants work at church and at home to memorize passages of
scripture, learn details about the Bible and Bible stories, and memorize
the answers to 145 questions from the Catechism for Young Children, with
the goal of reciting all of them by 5th grade. During the Sunday
School hour, "hearers" will come to each classroom to listen to the
participants recite what they have learned that week. Contact Terry Jackman for
more information. |

Summer Reading Program
The Reading Program for children is an outreach ministry of
the church library. It offers children (and adults) a chance
to read from the many selections in the church library which
fosters the children's love for God and love for reading. The
Summer Reading Program is a special emphasis during the Summer
months in which children can enter a contest to see who can
read the most books in a Summer. This encourages the children
to continue their education outside of school as well as
educate them on the lives and activities of missionaries and
foreign lands. The Summer Reading Program is coordinated
by Margaret Sellers. |

Vacation Bible School
Each Summer Ebenezer sponsors a Vacation Bible School for the children of the church and the
community. Children learn crafts, games, songs, and most importantly, the gospel. Each
Vacation Bible School is a great opportunity for outreach to the children of our community.
