ESM labors to build a community for Christ to reach a community for Christ by discipling and training the next generation of leaders to:

Know and desire God as the greatest joy in all reality, Desire Him
Know and desire God's vision for the world,  Desire what He desires
Understand and engage God's culture. Restore His culture

This mission is implemented through 5 interdependent components:

Outreach - ESM believes that the church should be actively involved in shaping the community.  Leaders participate in school lunches, FCA meetings, athletic events, speaking engagements, and more in order to reach out to Rock Hill students and families.  Students are also encouraged to invite friends to youth  group or one of our special events in order to show God's community in action.

Community - God's loves is displayed most vibrantly at Ebenezer through its loving community.  Not only are students impacted through this lifestyle, but they also benefit from our dynamic family-like environments designed for interaction and growth such as:  youth groups, Bonclarken retreats, Survivor, Game Nights, and Summer Conferences.

Worship - God-centered teaching and meaningful worship are a top priority at Ebenezer.  From praise songs to biblical teaching during youth group and Sunday School, God is the center of our church family.

Discipleship - Adult-led D-groups are designed to implement Christ's model of discipleship and training.  Groups meet on Sundays and focus on accountability and encouragement for the Christian walk.

Ministry - ESM heavily encourages lifestyle ministry, which results from desiring God and feeding upon the Word.  We also provide opportunities for students to work as a team to minister to the community such as:  community cleanup, the Boyd Hill Christmas Party, an student leadership development.

ESM consists of 3 interrelated ministries:

Bedrock - Designed for 6-8th graders, this ministry's main focus is Sunday night featuring youth group from 4:30 - 6 p.m. and D-groups from 6-7 p.m.  Bedrock develops Christian fellowship by providing crazy special events, retreats, and service projects.  Annual trips include spring and fall Bonclarken conferences, The Great Escape, Survivor, and The Mystery Trip.

Summit - Designed for 9-12th graders, this ministry's main focus is Sunday night featuring youth group from 6:30 - 8 p.m. and D- groups from 5-6 p.m.  Summit develops the Christian mind and fellowship by providing Dead Theologians Fellowship, student leadership development, retreats and service projects.  Annual trips include spring and fall Bonclarken conferences, Mission Appalachia, and Fun in the Son.

Perimeter - Designed for college/career, this ministry's main focus is leadership development and mentoring.  Along with this program, special events, retreats, and leadership development characterize Perimeter.
